Yonetani Die and Mold Co. Ltd. signed an agreement with Georg Fischer Casting Solutions China (hereinafter referred to as GF China) in December 2020, and officially formed a partnership to jointly serve customers in China and explore new business opportunities.

GF is headquartered in Switzerland, and specializes in the Diecast business with a focus on Automotive components and other applications. GF has major Diecast & Iron foundry business operations in Suzhou, China, and inaugurated the launch of Die & Mold operations as an independent entity in December 2019 to pursue the Die business not only in-house, but also for outside customers. The partnership with Yonetani will accelerate the opportunities to expand business with Japanese OEMs in China.
Yonetani’s growth has focused mainly in the Japanese domestic market as a manufacturer specializing in Dies for Low-Pressure casting and for High-Pressure Diecast. This alliance with GF China will provide an opportunity to expand beyond the Japanese domestic market to Japanese OEMs in China, as Yonetani will bring marketing and technical expertise to GF China. Through this alliance with GF China, Yonetani aims to strengthen partnership activities in the Chinese market and take a first step into globalization.
